  • 1oz coffee liqueur
  • Espresso or strong coffee cooled
  • 1/2oz sugar syrup

Directions:

  1. Start by pouring 2 ounces of vodka into your shaker. Add 1 ounce of coffee liqueur (Kahlua works great) and then fill the shaker halfway with cold-brewed espresso or strong coffee that has been cooled.
  2. Next, add 1/2 an ounce of sugar syrup—or more if desired—and shake all the ingredients together vigorously until they are well combined and chilled.
  3. Fill a martini glass with ice cubes and then strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass. Garnish with three coffee beans or chocolate flakes for decoration and enjoy!
  4. If desired, you can also rim the edges of your glass with dark cocoa powder for extra flavor and presentation points!
